Lauren Hoffman is originally from North Carolina, where she is a proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a focus on language translation and a minor in film, Lauren moved to Southern California to pursue a career in law. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor. During her second year of law school, Lauren joined the Justice Team as a law clerk. Pursuing her dream of residing in the greater Los Angeles area, Lauren moved to Santa Monica, California upon graduating law school and has happily lived there since.
When Lauren was 16 years old, her best friend died in a tragic motor vehicle accident. This was life-altering for Lauren, and it made her passionate about the rights of injured victims and their families. Now, Lauren’s own grief serves as her fuel for achieving justice. No matter the task, Lauren is always thinking about the ways personal injury has altered the lives of her clients, because personal injury has significantly altered her very own life as well.
Lauren’s passion is helping people navigate their grief while utilizing the justice system in a way that best fits their situation. Every client’s story is unique and is worth fighting for. Lauren feels blessed that she gets to carry out her late friend Nick’s legacy by fighting for her clients.
In her free time, you will find Lauren sweating at hot pilates, sipping a fresh latte at one of her favorite local coffee shops, taking photos on her Fujifilm X100f, bettering her chip shot at the golf course, nerding out on La La Land or Spider-Man, and training for full or half marathons by the beach.
